THE L.A. GROUP of Class ’55 alumni—Ric Gomez and wife Linda, Lita Velasco and husband Mey, Nannie Labrador and husband Tony, and Flor Whaley and husband Richard of Virginia—spread the welcome mat for Emy and Chito Bernardo and Mesing and Goyie Guinto during their short visit to Los Angeles last May.

The Gomezes and the Velascos toured the Emy and Chito, Mesing and Goyie Guinto and Flor and Richard to Laguna Beach and other interesting points in the Southland. The Velascos took the visitors to a visit of the historic Wayfarers Chapel in Palos Verdes Drive and treated them to a send-off seafood dinner at Crusty Crab restaurant in San Pedro.

The Velascos also treated the visitors with an Italian dinner at Romano’s Grille while the Gomezes drove Emy and Chito to Las Vegas for a two-day stay at the Strip.
